Family friendly holidays in Cornwall
Home to some of the most beautiful coastline in the UK, Cornwall has everything you need for a fantastic family holiday. The balmy climate and soft sand beaches contrast with the rugged coastline and hidden coves. The coast is dotted with picturesque fishing villages and historical places of interest. There are plenty of family-friendly attractions all over Cornwall including the famous Eden Project.
Cornwall’s northern coastline is scattered with family friendly places to stay and visit. Whilst surfing is popular all along the coast, Bude and Newquay are particularly popular if you want to try out the waves. There are plenty of family friendly beaches along the coast including Rock Beach, Great Western Beach and Holywell Bay Beach.
The beautiful beaches and spectacular scenery continue along the south coast. Gyllyngvase Beach near Falmouth is particularly good if you have smaller children as it has good access and is buggy friendly. It also has plenty of amenities and is only 10 minutes from Falmouth town centre. There are plenty of beaches along the coast for water sport lovers including Polkerris Beach overlooking St Austell Bay. It has plenty of sand for little ones, whilst water sports hire and tuition is available for those looking to hit the waves.
